2. Information We Collect

Camera Images

When you perform an aura scan, your device camera captures an image. This image is sent to our AI analysis service (Anthropic Claude) for processing and is never stored on our servers. The image is used solely to generate your aura reading and is discarded immediately after analysis.

Email Address

If you choose to save your reading or create an account, we collect your email address. We use it to send your reading, account access links, and optional energy reminders. We never sell or share your email with third parties.

Usage Data

We store your aura scan history (color, intensity, date) locally on your device via browser storage. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly create an account.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not collect or store your credit card information. Please review Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle payment data.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To send optional daily energy reminders (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • To send weekly energy summaries to subscribers

  • To improve our AI analysis and service quality

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage to save your scan history, daily limits, and session preferences on your device. We use session cookies for authentication purposes when you sign in to your account. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Anthropic Claude — AI analysis of your aura image. Images are processed and not retained. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
  • Lemon Squeezy — Payment processing and subscription management.
  • Resend — Email delivery service for transactional emails.
  • Vercel — Hosting and infrastructure provider.

6. Data Retention

We retain your email address and account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hi@alignmyaura.com. Scan history stored in your browser can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

You have the right to:

  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
  • Cancel your subscription at any time
